Panagiotis N. Karavitis MD, FEBO

Panagiotis Karavitis is a surgeon ophthalmologist specialized in cataract, laser and refractive surgery. He got his medical degree at the University La Sapienza of Rome, Italy with a thesis on ophthalmic research, then trained in the First Ophthalmic Clinic at the University of Athens and the Pediatric Ophthalmology dpt. at the Penteli Hospital, Athens. Specialized in low vision rehabilitation at the University of Florence, Italy. He is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, International Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Karavitis is the author of several publications in the field of Ophthalmic research.
